Legal Metrology
Organisation is headed by one controller. Besides there are Jt. Controller, 4
Deputy Controllers,25 Assistant Controllers,145 Inspectors and other
staff in this organisation. The organisation has a Central
Laboratory and one R.S.S.L at Siliguri.

Directorate of Consumer Affairs & Fair Business Practices has

Regional Offices of the Assistant Directors of C.A.F.B.P and 3
Regional Centres for Consumer Education & Fair Business
Practices situated in the districts and important sub-divisions.
