A consumer can get the help of the
Department of Consumer
Affairs to redress their grievances by various means. The
Department has a
State Commission, District
Consumer Redressal Forums in each districts for facilitating
speedy redressal.
The Legal Metrology Organisation under this
Department plays a significant role to ensure that the consumers are
getting proper quality material with accurate weight. There are
various enactments
to ensure protection to the consumer to
their rights.
Before filing cases, consumers can approach the Assistant Director
of
CA&FBP and Assistant Controller of LMO
for advice & guidance in each district and
